I’m in a pretty decent mood right now for someone who has just been to the dentist and found out she has 2 cavities and that her parents can’t watch Aiden anymore and I’ll have to pay someone to watch him if I want to keep working. I might have to take a part time gig in the mornings that isn’t the full 8 hours, which pretty much leaves me with the option of working fast food which I’ve always tried to avoid as much as possible. We know someone that will watch him for $125 a week, which isn’t too bad… I’d really hate to start a job and then quit a month later. I think I might have to just buck up and pay $125 a week so I can keep my current job.
I can feel reassurance that I should stay where I am. Too often have I just thrown in the towel before and took the easy road. If my parents aren’t going to push me too succeed in life then I have to push myself, which is what I’ve been doing for a while now with school and Honor Society and whatnot. I’ve been a lot happier lately and things are going to keep getting better. Sure things are rough right now because we’re getting kicked out of our house (which is actually a blessing in disguise) and we have to renovate the upstairs at my mom’s before we can move in, but I feel good about the future.

Money!

Payperpost has once again denied me for like the 50th time. Its okay though, I love my blog regardless and I end up neglecting it these days anyway with my own updates. Blogsvertise likes me but I just don’t have time to write for them anymore! I guess she’ll just go back to being the unmonetized blog she was before. I got my first paycheck on Friday from that job (they started me on a pay week and we get paid biweekly so I had to wait 3 weeks!) But it was a nice fat check so that kinda made up for it. I got to go out last night and buy myself a nice warm coat and new pair of Nikes because my old ones are falling to pieces. I love my new coat. We went to Gabriel Brothers which is one of my favorite stores to go for clothing, and got a Jan sport coat for $20 and I love it. It’s so warm. Aiden has a nice warm coat now and a hat that looks like a hunter/fisherman/redneck hat that is camouflage and has the flaps that come down over his ears and Velcro under his chin.
Well I suppose we have no choice right now but to move back into my mom’s for the time being so we can save up some money. It would also be way easier and cheaper for child care because my mom agreed to watch him while I work if we did. I’m not embarrassed to say this, a lot of people in my age group and older have to do this more and more these days because times are hard.
Aiden is almost crawling… he gets on all fours and rocks back and forth until he gets the momentum to launch himself forward. It’s really cute to watch.
I can’t find my USB adapter to get my pics on the computer! No!!
Oh, and Skip a Beat has a new layout. It’s System of a Down. :D

So I tried some of that Hershey’s Extra Dark 60% cacao. Not only was my chocolate fix satisfied in one bite, but that stuff is definitely an aphrodisiac… chocolate actually causes the same chemical reactions in your body as sex, which if eaten at work can make you much happier while working. :D
But anyway…

OBAMA WON!!!! YEEESSSSSSS.

The world is upside down.

I wrote a whole post on everything that was going on but I lost it and for some reason Wordpress didn’t save it, so here we go with the abridged version. :P
The last 2 weeks have been nuts, with me adjusting to my new full-time job, school and trying to coordinate a baby sitter for Aiden. And on top of that we’re getting kicked out of our house. But I’m not really upset with it, we moved in in June of 2007 and the place never did feel like home. Plus its drafty and the furnace is broke and the landlord never wants to come out and replace the drafty windows and the broken furnace. I hated the place actually and it sounds horrible but I’m kinda glad. Yeah moving is a pain in the ass but I have a thing for change. Right now we’re looking for a new place and we have 30 days to move out.
We got 6 inches of snow or so on Tuesday and now its 65 degrees outside.
